WoW! What a fun summer. Now school has started and busy days again. Matthew is helping coach a football team and has asked a friend to homecoming next weekend. His group of about 40 will be coming over to our house for breakfast - going to a Gym for a day of fun then to Ruby River for dinner then the dance. Dominic is playing football he is doing a wonderful job he is playing quarter back and safety (I think) and is doing the BEST he has ever done in school. Alexis tryed a cheer class with her friend Ashley but after only a month she don't want to go back. We are going to try and find her something else to do that she enjoys. She has almost straight A's and is doing great at school. Austin LOVES to watch TV, play his video games, and be by himself. He has been doing good in school and does a great job helping kids at school that are special needs. I have been working and trying to keep up. I have decided to have the lap band procedure done. I have to do a 6 month program before my insurance will help pay for it. I need all the work I can get to help pay for it. If anyone needs to buy or sell a house PLEASE let me know. I have been doing Grandma Tryons and Aunt Linda's hair for them every week to make a little extra money its been alot of fun. Grandpa Dennis has been off work so please pray for him he is looking for a job. Grandma Carol is busy as ever she spends most of her time taking care of all of us. As soon as she gets one meal cleaned up she starts another one. The only thing around here is never never eat the Ritz crackers (she sits at night and plays on the computer licks the salt off the crackers and stacks them up). Grandma Great HATES the dogs!! I think they are driving her crazy or maybe she is just crazy? She doesn't leave the house much her days are watching the TV, eating, and letting the dogs out. Well before we know it winter will be here and next year is just around the corner. I am just glad I have a wonderful family, great jobs and Lots of great friends!

Roy Days
This week was Roy Days and we had alot of fun. Last saturday the week started with the fishing derby. Dominic and Austin got up at 6:30 am to go fishing.They were doing good for the first few hours then it started getting hot and the fish quit bitting. Tuesday night we were at the All Star baseball games all night, we missed the movie in the park I was to tired to go. Friday night they went to the park to the booths and games.Me and Brenda had to go put our chairs out for the parade. Saturday I got up early and meet everyone at the parade then we went to the park for lunch and games. Later that night I went to my friends Jerry and Diana's for a party and fireworks. Diana always has a fun party and lots of wonderful food. The kids were with their dad. Now its sunday I went shopping all morning with Brenda and I'm tired. I'm not looking forward to another long week.

Austins baseball team took 3rd place and we had the end of the season party at or house.

Wow! How fun is this... It has taken about 4 hours for me to learn how to start my own blog. I'm excited to learn how to blog and let every one see my great family. Life is crazy at the Martinez house but we seem to make it everyday. Matthew is almost 17 and will be starting his senior year soon. Sad but true he won't be playing football this year he has decited to just wreslte. Hopefully he will be getting his driving permit soon. Alexis is 13 and alot of fun! She loves to babysit and help take care of her grandparents. She's getting alot taller and YEA she got a phone. Dominic is 13 and is very excited he started football. He hasn't decited yet if he wants to try out for the Jr. high team but is playing for the city right now. He is still as cute as ever and still the ladys man. Austin oh little Austy he just got done playing baseball and his team took 3rd place. He wants to play fall ball and we are looking for a team for him. He still loves to play with his legos and video games. He got to go to space camp for a week he wants to work at NASA. Austin will be going to 6th grade this year (how sad for me) last year for us in elementry. Wow me.. I am still working at the Mckay Dee Surgical Center and working as a Realtor - anyone that needs to buy or sell a house don't forget to call. Life for me is working and taking care of my kids they keep me pretty busy. I am very Thankful for my parents they have helped me out alot. I spend most of my time hanging out with Brenda I'm glad she lives in Roy now. I think of her as my sister. I miss Ricki living with me we had alot of fun but now she has her husband back and a beautiful house. I don't get to spend as much time with Susie as I would like but she is busy with her kids. I hope everyone has as much fun as I do seeing my kids grow up. I miss you Jamie and Anne we think about you both all the time.
